- A legal degree OR a degree in a technical field; and

- Excellent communication skills in English

The following further qualifications are preferred:-

- Good command of a foreign language especially Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, German, French

or Russian

- Registration as a Malaysian Trade Mark Agent, Patent Agent and/or Industrial Designs Agent

- At least 1-2 years work experience in the field of Intellectual Property
