The Malaysian Reserve - Perlis government in pursue of making "Harumanis" its trademark

The Perlis state government is taking one step further in protecting its prized Harumanis mango by indicating its interest to protect "Harumanis" as a trademark. At present, the name "Mangga Harumanis Perlis" (Perlis Harumanis mango) is a Geographical Indication registered by the Perlis Agriculture Department.

3 primary school pupils and their teachers have won the gold medal at the International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition 2020 in Bangkok for an all-natural tea product with health benefits. The tea product, known as Idaman Tea, will be commercialised.
